Mr. Sommers is an international and domestic tax attorney who has represented and advised numerous U.S. and foreign individuals and companies on a variety of tax matters since 1976. Recognized as a certified tax specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar, a distinction earned by less than .05% of all attorneys in California, he is also an expert witness in tax and trust cases for the U.S. Department of Justice and a selected expert on tax scams on the internet by the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. As well, Robert L. Sommers is the author of critically acclaimed and nationally recognized articles and books on tax law issues.
